PMAD SUPPORT GROUP (FACEBOOK)
Social support and a safe community is so important in the prevention and treatment of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD). We are excited to be able to connect with new parents in an online capacity which hopefully will reduce the barriers birthing people face when they are struggling with Postpartum Depression and/or Anxiety.
This group is designed for both pregnant and postpartum birthing people who are struggling with their mental health. We welcome those who join us to share openly about how they’re feeling and find a strong sense of connection and support from others in the group.
Although this group does not replace the care from a professional mental health provider, it certainly is a positive addition to your own unique treatment plan.
