In partnership with The Nest Health Centre, this brand new 6-week childbirth series is designed to provide a solid baseline of education for expectant parents. Each class will focus on practical information and hands-on skills you can benefit from during birth and postpartum. Our goal is to help you become educated and open-minded so you are better prepared for the day your labour begins and beyond. This class is not a replacement for medical advice or primary health care.

Class 1: Welcome / Preparing for a Health Pregnancy and Birth

Class 2: Fundamentals of Childbirth

Class 3: Birthing Options, Pain Management, and C-Sections
- Birthing positions
- Odd labour patterns

- Transition to Mom & Baby Unit
Class 4: Adjusting at Home
- The reality of fourth trimester
- Developing reasonable expectations

Class 5: Feeding and Caring for Your Newborn
- Breastfeeding Basics

Class 6: Early Childhood Attachment; Physical Health
